BOPP LAMINATED INNER LINER

Traditional aluminum foil liners remain popular in the tobacco industry for their excellent protective properties. These liners are typically a laminate of thin aluminum foil bonded to paper, combining the barrier properties of metal with the strength and printability of paper.
NON-ALUMINUM PRINTED INNER LINER

Printed liners are typically paper or paper-foil laminated liners that are fully customizable with graphics, colors and finishes. They are a cost-effective alternative to traditional plain foils, providing design flexibility without compromising core protection functionality.

First, Aluminum foil is an extremely effective barrier against oxygen, light, and moisture—making it the ideal choice for preserving cigarette quality. Its comprehensive protective properties allow for the inclusion of additives like menthol within the packaging, preventing them from evaporating or affecting other items. This superior protection helps ensure that the flavor and aroma of cigarettes remain intact over time. The aluminum layer also blocks UV rays that could degrade the tobacco and prevents any external odors from seeping in.

Second, Foil liners are known for their durability and “dead-fold” characteristic (they hold their shape when folded).This robustness allows the liner to tightly wrap around the cigarettes, providing a stable microenvironment that extends the product's shelf life. The combination of aluminum foil and paper gives the liner sufficient strength to resist tearing, yet it remains flexible enough to wrap snugly. By maintaining a seal, the aluminum liner helps cigarettes retain their nicotine content and flavor characteristics for a longer period, ensuring product integrity from the factory to the consumer. Even under varying climatic conditions, the aluminum foil liner controls moisture and oxygen levels, keeping the last cigarette in the pack as fresh as the first.
